First of I’d like to say hi, I just signed up for the forum here. I’ve been watching Chris’ videos for quite some time now but have so far only lurked in the forums.
I was hoping I could get some advice. I used to own the Chuwi Hi12 with keyboard, but was sorely disappointed by it. I had issues with its touch screen, and the keyboard was unfortunately unusably bad (it often failed to register key presses, I don’t know why).
I’ve kept watching TechTablets videos, in look for something that suits me better, and the Cube Mix Plus caught my eye. It has Wacom style pen support which seems both useful and usable (the Chuwi pen, unfortunately, was neither of those), and from what I can tell the keyboard gets glowing reviews (except the trackpad, but that’s expected).
Now we get onto my main question though. It appears the Mix Plus is a little hard to find right now, showing up as out of stock in many places. Then the i7 Book seems pretty much similar (and better looking, with its dark exterior) specs and performance wise, so that could be a good alternative.
Lastly, I like the size of the i9, but it’s missing pen support altogether, yet gains the possibility of a 4g upgrade/installation. This one, too, seems almost impossible to find right now.
Do you think Cube about to release new models, which is why these are harder to find? If so, it’s probably better I wait a while longer, right?
