I purchased 2 Cube i7 Stylus from GearBest and had no issues (bought tablet, keyboard, and stylus)

I purchased the Cube i7 Book on AliExpress when it was 300 and the only issue I have is that the trackpad on the keyboard is faulty but the seller says he’ll send me a replacement. Other than that no issues.

    No experience with BangGood.

So, a couple of things to bear in mind: first, any store you purchase from is highly unlikely to have done any product testing before they ship the items, so you won’t have any worse/better luck with hardware issues depending on which store you choose.

Aliexpress isn’t a seller – it’s more of a marketplace like Amazon, they only handle orders and payment, not the actual products/support/shipping etc. If you order from there, be sure to check the seller’s reviews – I wouldn’t buy something like a laptop from any seller with less than about 95% positive or so. I bought my i7 book from SoCube, and they shipped it quick and without problems. I haven’t had any reason to test their support, luckily.

Banggood, by contrast, is a seller, and one of the more reputable ones. Don’t worry if your specific product doesn’t have reviews, it’s probably just because they recently added the product page and haven’t had time to get any reviews yet. Gearbest works fine in my experience but shipping can get pretty expensive.

In your situation I would probably buy from banggood, they definitely have the best price available right now.

I got mine from  Shenzhen Ele Technology Limited. Good price, and fast shipping. If you want to avoid brokerage fees at the border ship with slow option. (not DHL)

All my thanks to everyone’s input on experience and tips! I needed confirmation among the community because I can be so indecisive–I’m well informed now!

I’ve come to a conclusion to purchase from Banggood.

Even though this thread may have come to an end, but new comments are still welcome!

BangGood doesn’t ship with original box. Does anyone know if there’s a way to get the original box?

I think I read from one of the customer who has the same troubles there, and Banggood replied that they should contact them about it before placing their order.

Same here. Got if from Shenzhen Ele Technology Limited with DHL.

I basically go to aliexpress, sort by number of orders then by number of negative reviews.

Other than that, I have not experiences problems with this tablet or the teclast tablets I have gotten, so I can’t really comment on the return shipping or warranty period. As with all china goods, pray that you do not get a lemon set lol.

I want to warn about Shenzhen Ele Technology Limited seller.

Windows on Cube i7 Book tablets sold by this seller does not have a valid license. Yes, it is a valid key, not the MSDN key, but key is already activated on many computers and blocked.

You can check validity of your key in Microsoft support chat.

So, if you can start a dispute and try to refund about $50. But you have to do a video of tablet unpacking and chatting with MS support.

I’ve had no issues purchasing from BangGood or GearBest or Everbuying which is another similar store that competes.  Just make sure you take note of the shipping ETA as sometimes, but not always, items ship from China meaning they take a while.

I haven’t used Aliexpress before however as I understand it it’s safer than eBay/PayPal in that Aliexpress have stricter policies to protect buyers.

Have you tried emailing them and asking for the original box to be shipped?

    @Paul

I didn’t get taxed although by the amount sent, I should have gotten taxed.

Customs is the final issue worrying me before pressing the button – 20% (UK) is a lot to cough up, especially when the carriers slap on their own inflated “admin” fee.
