Is matching master bedroom furniture outdated?

I have a large, empty bedroom where I need furniture. I was thinking about buying a matching set but now I’m reading it’s outdated

By matching set I mean a bed, 2 dressers, 2 nightstands – all matching

Hi, I’m not a fan of that solution, and I wouldn’t advise you to do it. But that said, of course you are free to decide what kind of furniture you want in your home. But I would advise against it.
