Is Taobao taking my refund money?

Hi Techies,

So I was suppose to get a refund for an item that I cancelled back in early December. But I haven’t received anything.

Yet it says that the refund has been processed, both by Taobao and AliPay.

Does anyone have any experience with refunds with Taobao for the credit card?

Any help, tips, would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry never used them directly only through an agent and I was scammed. Which is why I stick to Aliexpress and use banggood.com, gearbest and geekbuying when I can as they have PayPal.

 

Best of luck on the refund. My Alipay refunds from Aliexpress sometimes take 3 weeks. How long as it been?

Hey Chris, thanks for the response (much respect as I know you’re ultra-busy)

It’s been almost 2 months. It doesn’t make sense as it doesn’t look like a scam since both (alipay and taobao) is saying the refund is processed.

I’ll have to double check with the bank as it may have gone through without me noticing!

No big deal, luckily it was only $20, and a $20 lesson is better than a $500 one!

PayPal is great for us buyers.

I’m waiting for my first 2 orders from BangGood actually. They’ve got great service so far.
