I was informed that Teclast Korea is showing the X80 Power S 64 which has Glass front and 64 GB eMMC choice of silver or gold metal back.
I know the X80 power has just been pre release and in stock by Mid May. Besides being a little thinner and metal back, is there really benefit in spending $30 us more for a metal back? Plus I dont see reviews for the plastic back X80 Pro.
- Is Teclast Korean? I see most putting this brand in with Chinese tablet manufactures. Could the POWER S 64 be found from say Korean dealers?
- How long does it usually take for these companies to actually start making the tablets they show on their web site? Does it always show up on the Korean site first then move to China sites then start production? How does it normally work?
- what could one estimate the upgrades to cost or what will have have to be retailing for there to be intrest? It is still only 8″ so what are those upgrades worth?
- Why do you think if they were upgrading the back, the screen material and eMMC, why didnt they bump it to 3 or 4 GB? I mean I would surely wait if they put it out with 4 GB .
With the SD card slot, is a bigger internal drive a major deal, something to pay for? I have a 32GB sd card ready to go so is the performance that much better using on board storage vs added card?
If not then the only difference between that and the POWER would be the glass front.
I wonder what that is worth to most for upgrade in price?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Actually “Teclast Korea” is not the Teclast’s branch. They don’t own any factory or anything can directly influence Teclast.
It is just another reseller like Gearbest.
But what make it interesting is that they don’t just import products but order Teclast for special limited versions.
There have been X98 Pro Plus X98 Plus S and etc..
They all had graphene sheet applied for thermal and some improvement like fixed antennas, more storage, different lcd panels.
But you have to know that Teclast Korea version is much expansive than other dealers’
For example, X98 Plus is $204.89 in Gearbest now.
Teclast Korean version X98 Plus ‘S” is about $264 with no shipping option outside Korea.
