Hello, today my X98Pro delivered. Everything fine, Windows 10 and Android works fine, no problems at this moment. Hope it will be fine also later but cant say nothing negative at this moment.
October 26, 2015 at 10:42 pm #14255Mine works fine and has done since I got it…I avoid letting it get too low on power especially in windows as mentioned with shutting down issues in another thread…. it seems to work really well…
October 26, 2015 at 11:57 pm #14266I received mine a couple of days ago and today I got the boot into BIOS screen and thats it. I think they do have an issue with the EMMC storage. Doesnt seem to see OS at all. So looking to return it and have contacted Banggood and am awaiting reply. Loved it whilst it was working though.
October 27, 2015 at 5:01 am #14274Mine works more or less as expected. There are moments when I want to throw it out the window (“This charger and cable worked fine yesterday! Why is my power going down with them today?!”) but I’m pretty much satisfied with the device.
Definitely a geek device at the moment, though. That we have to do a heat sink mod is enough by itself to classify this as a geek only gadget. And even when it is running well its battery life leaves much to be desired.
Speaking of the heat sink mod. My copper bits shifted and the machine shorted out hard. Fortunately it seems so far that no lasting harm was done but I replaced the copper with 1mm thermal pads and the result is about the same.
October 27, 2015 at 9:01 am #14290Hello , mine has been working for 14 days without any problem ( Win10 + Android) and I hope it stays that way.

October 27, 2015 at 12:59 pm #14309Same here. Got mine yesterday and dual boot is working ok.
October 29, 2015 at 9:10 am #14411Unfortunately I’m one of them with sudden blackout issues. As it arises every 30-60 minutes of work in my case, I really can’t recommend that model if you intend to work on battery!
November 1, 2015 at 10:48 am #14639Samppa that eMMC problem with the Bios is fixed. Look here http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/latest-bios-updates-for-x98-pro-v1-13/
That blackout problem…maybe. Tried the latest option from another user: go in the BIOS and disable IGD Boost mode (was on AUTO with mine). For now it seems to work.
November 1, 2015 at 4:32 pm #14665Hey Dennis, i noticed that Bios update. It´s good that they release it, but unfortunately i shipped my tablet back a week ago for warranty repair/change… Not so clever, now it´s stuck somwhere in China. 🙂 Maybe i get it back someday. That´s why i was asking about working devices, because if there isn´t any, i will ask them to change it to different device. But i think i want back my x98 Pro. 🙂
November 3, 2015 at 3:31 pm #14854Yep working fine here in the UK. received mine on fri 30th Oct. dual boot all good.
Update all!!
Most importantly let it charge for 24Hrs and run down to 10% to condition the battery. 😉
November 3, 2015 at 4:16 pm #14863Mine is working fine (K9C6 On bios 1.13) Getting close to 5 hours in Android and about 4 in Windows. I have cycled my battery a few times since owning it.
