    As stated in the title.

Random stream, 60 fps full hd. When I play it and look at the player stats the fps is hovering between 10-20 with 100% cpu usage. Now, lower fps isn’t immediately killing, but it’s stuttering like no other making it REALLY annoying to watch.

On the other hand, android twitch app works flawless. CPU heats up a bit but I get 60 fps flat no sweat.

Are firefox and chrome that badly optimized or am I doing something radically wrong? I expected this tablet to perform better in windows than this.

it’s most likely not using hardware decoding. try a different browser

Just a bit lost on where to start, a lot of browsers are chromium/firefox based which are also the only ones I consider “usable”. I’m assuming this is a lower level problem, not sure if that’s correct.

I guess I’ll give vivaldi a shot? Perhaps edge, but I’d rather not as it doesn’t support extensions…

Edit: Just checked, gpu acceleration works fine. Optimization is just shit.

    So far:

Chrome (Canary): 10-20 fps heavy stuttering

Firefox (Waterfox): Does not even start

    Vivaldi: Does not even start

    IE: 30-40 fps mediocre stuttering
