Nearly 2 weeks ago I received my iWork Type C. So far I was happy because I was looking for a small tablet to do some light tasks outside without beeing bounded to my regular desktop PC.
Last week everything was fine: Charged to 100% and used it about 4 hours outside at 75% brightness. Remaining capacity at the end: ~30%.
Today I charged it up again to 100% but this time the tablet shut down without any warning while the remaining battery capacity was around 50%
I was not able to get it back to life by pressing the power button. The blue LED shows up for 3-4 seconds but nothing happend.
The only thing that helped was to plugin the power cable and wait some minutes. It boots normaly up and shows 51-52% capacity.
Any ideas what’s the reason for this behavior? Or is it defective and has to be returned to GB?
