I bought a USB Type-C iWork10 and along with it a ROMOSS Sense 6(20.000mAh) external battery.
The external battery has a 2.1A output port and a 1A port, and neither is charging my tablet. My Redmi Note 2 is charging on both the ports so neither is broken, and my tablet is charging if I plug the USB in my Redmi’s original adapter or one of my smaller capacity external batteries. (And I can use it as an energy “buffer”)
Any ideas on why I can’t charge the tablet directly from the power bank?

Edit: I tried an original 1A Samsung adapter and that worked as well, even though while playing LoL, the power level is slowly decreasing. (-4% / h)

I have no problems charging it with a xiaomi 10400mah battery.
August 27, 2016 at 8:35 pm #48198I had this problem with a 750 mA generic USB adapter. I couldn’t use the OEM adapter on my American electrical socket. I finally switched to a Samsung 5.3V 2A adapter and it’s charging fine but I ordered a 5V 2A output adapter with American electrical socket connector since that’s the output of the OEM adapter. If you use an adapter who’s output is too low it won’t charge properly.

November 3, 2016 at 9:51 am #56339My cheap 4k MaH bank connected with 1.0 output can charge 20% (not intense using it). Ur bank will drain fast if ur using ur tablet especially the screen it needs alot of power so it feels like it doesnt charge at all. But beside that my bank saved me a couple times.
Had to add that peter is right……you need a 2.0 A output (no between split cables, no longer ones, these all cut into ur power traffic) even a wall powered between splitter of 8 feet connected will drain battery when using performances likes muktitasking and graphical handlings. I confirm that you can game fullpotential on steam whatever while having the original cable plugged on a 2.0 output.
