    I’ve noted that my iWork8 Air will drain its battery even when its connected to the USB charger, so I’m forced to stop using it at some point.

    Is that normal?

    The tablet comes without an AC/USB charger, so I’m using the same USB charger I use to recharge my smartphone.

    It only draws about 800 mah when charging, so yes it is normal that the battery drains while using even when charging. This is a big negative for iWork8 tablets.

    Use a better charger?

     

    For iWork 8 it draws 2200 mah-600mah if in use = slow charge at 1600mah

    I’ve tried this one http://www.gearbest.com/chargers-cables/pp_350599.html and it works!
