I have been planning to get myself one of these ( ezbook 3 pro) but I’m not sure now coz almost everyone is having a complaint with the notebook before they even last a year. Assuming that I only use it for typing, browsing and watching movies how long can it last without any modifications or changes?

    It should be fine.

I’ve  had mine for about a year and have opened and closed the clamshell perhaps a couple of hundred times.  The hinge on one side of the lid failed.  The metal hinge is apparently screwed into some plastic inside and the plastic broke.  The laptop can no longer be closed completely. I wrote to Jumper as well as this forum and have received no help in fixing the problem.
