I’ve  had mine for about a year and have opened and closed the clamshell perhaps a couple of hundred times.  The hinge on one side of the lid failed.  The metal hinge is apparently screwed into some plastic inside and the plastic broke.  The laptop can no longer be closed completely. I wrote to Jumper as well as this forum and have received no help in fixing the problem.
