Hello, I know how disappointing this is. I also had this problem and my seller from China = no help.

Finally I talked myself ok, first and last order.

I decided to buy usb hub (3 eur), uploaded New BIOS and now IT IS just perfect. Quick, smooth…like it so much.

DONT worry, follow instructions, update and hope you will be happy again.

Now it works and even there were problem, i am happy to have this device in my hand.

Same here, but China shop was not able to give me return adress and declined my request for money return. Try to update,  it is easy and after that you will be satisfied.

If you need some help, let me know.

    Good luck.

Actually these chinese products need user to have fair amount of DIY skills. And ofcourse these are products are not perfect or flawless either.

So its highly recommended to recover your tab by following help available online. Thats best alternative. It will consume your time and efforts, but its worthwhile in the long run too. As long as its software issue its better to resolve it ourselves only instead of returning it to seller which may take more resources in return shipping and processing refund etc.

    Where are you located?

Did you use a credit card? Contact your bank and ask for a chargeback due to them not honoring the warranty.

I think that many people that bought the X98 Pro has seen the same problems (shutdowns, ACPI Table parse error, tablet charging slowly, tablet not powering on, overheating and CPU throttling, tablet booting to BIOS only…)
Just check this forum and you’ll see posts about the same problems all the time. This tablet has design and manufacturing faults, you must decide if you are willing to live with that or you try to return it and get the money back.
I have seen all those problems and got out of them updating BIOS, changing settings on BIOS, reinstalling Windows, changing settings in Windows and slowly learning how the hell this tablet behaves. But my job is to deal with faulty hardware and fix it, so I’m not scared to format / flash / open and get the damn thing to behave better.
