Hi guys, is Android running smoothly on your K9C6 device? I am experiencing huge lags, black screens (except for the software buttons and upper bar…), then it runs OK for some time, and then agains lags… with no visible reason, tablet is very slow. It looks like it lags mostly on processor-intense apps like Facebook, Chrome browser etc. and only when the unit is connected to the internet. But the tablet with 4-core newest Intel Cherry Trail processor??? My other tablet – Chuwi Hi8 – runs much more smoothly (Z3735).
Teclast X98 Pro (K9C6): Android 5.1. Kernel version 3.14.37. Build number V1.03_20150916. There is no option of OTG update on this machine – how could I update it to newer (quicker) version? (if it exists?). Thanks!
October 26, 2015 at 9:20 pm #14245I think 1.03v is the lastest version. It seems like a Beta rom to me. My X98 Air 3G Android rom runs better, but I’m not having the issues you describe, however.

I was also thinking the Android on this machine is still in beta, I have never seen such unstable and laggy OS on any Android device…
On the other side, Win 10 runs OK. 🙂

October 27, 2015 at 9:20 am #14291@Jean Do Cesari, will try the soft reset although so far I tried to avoid such solutions. Also, I will try to look through the other forums or websites to look after any solution. If you find something to solve this, could you post it here please?
