I’ve managed to open up the keyboard and back plate and everything is connected and there are no crimped or damaged wires. What it seems to me is some sort of software issue. I’ve booted into the bios and the keyboard works just as it should, once I boot into windows all functionality and power to the keyboard is lost after a couple of minutes.
