For several days, my Jumper Ezbook X4 has stopped turning on correctly (turned on, then it power off).
Disassembling the device I noticed that keyboard flat cable seems damaged (I don’t know how the tracks of the printout could have been erased, maybe because of the heat?). To make you understand the damage I am attaching the photos of the flat cable.
Now:
I thinks that replacing the keyboard is impossible, because the keyboard seems is all one piece with the body. I see no way you can remove it except by breaking the plastic (there are no screws or interlocking shells). So.. I would like to know if maybe it’s possible to replace only the keyboard flat cable.
The following writing is present on the cable:
182326
K621 VER:A0
KY300-1 US
My other question is:
Is there another way to turn on the pc without the keyboard (power on button)? maybe with some hardware mod? because if i can turn on pc with another system, i could use an external keyboard to continue to use the pc.
I would really like to recover the life of this PC. I am willing to sacrifice the portability of the computer, perhaps making it a desktop PC. The important thing would be a way to recreate an on / off button
