Hi Chris,
Let me first thank you for all of your wonderful videos. I want to buy a tablet so before buying I want your honest suggestions so that I can buy it with confidence. Here are my queries & assumptions after watching all of your videos :
1) I want 64GB version (if not higher) and also dual boot mode (I can ignore dual boot choice if I can install it later). My budget is max $ 300.
2) My top choices as of now are : Teclast X98 Air 3G/Air II, X10HD, X16HD (kindly mention if I am missing any better options).
3) I am ignoring Asus T100TA, Acer One S1001 both are having 500GB hard drive in the keyboard panel just because they are only having 1366 x 768 resolution. Is it worthy doing this?
4) Though I think X10HD is on the better display side but as you mentioned, sometimes it may be slow, if it is then will it be fast if we lower its resolution to 1080p around while playing high end games?
5) Although x98 has best battery backup according to you, but how worse are rest of the two X10HD & X16HD? Or the battery backups difference is marginal which we can ignore?
6) Between X10HD, X16HD is anyone has better battery backup? I am asking this because both has pros & cons regarding battery consumption where X10HD has smaller screen size but higher resolution where as X16HD has bigger screen size but slightly lower resolution.
7) What is the best possible way to use my 1TB external hard drive with those tablets? As you mentioned that those cannot read external HDD on their own, so if I use a USB hub & use a Y 1:2 USB cable to insert both the USB jack at that hub, will it read the hard drive then?
8) I can see many better configuration (like octa core processors & 4G) but lesser price tablets but I intentionally ignore them as those are only Android tablets where as my first choice is definitely Windows, Android is an added advantage for me. So can we install Windows onto those high configuration tablets?
9) Will it be better if I try refurbished product from eBay with higher seller ranking? I heard refurbished products are not bad compared to used ones, in fact max times those come in new condition.
I will be grateful to you if you can answer all of my queries because I dun know anyone who can answer to these queries better than you. Thank you once again.
