Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30November 12, 2017 at 4:01 pm #74793Mine seems okay, might be a cable inside that plastic doing it like the cable for the camera or the wireless cable pushing up against the plastic making the noise.

Initially i thought adding a drop of mechanical oil on each side of the hinge. But then again i hesitate doing so.
November 19, 2017 at 7:30 am #75032Anyone else experiencing the creaking sounds as in my case? The sounds are generated even when i -VERY- slightly press the black plastic part. I thing that mechanical oil will not fix this. I have the impression that the black plastic part is not tightly attached to the lid. I still cannot understand why CHUWI decided to use plastic for the most crucial part of the laptop: the hinge. It may me metal inside, but the engineering decision to cover with plastic produces these noises which in my opinion take away much of its classy appearance/feeling.
December 13, 2017 at 4:09 pm #75835I had the creaking noise upon receiving it. On my unit, it was that the black plastic strip had come unclipped on one side. Just push the plastic strip back in place making sure that the teeth of the clips hook back in place. Voila.
This processor is a bit slow for my tastes, though. I’ll give it a few more days to see if its just my Google Drive / Dropbox hogging resources. My CPU usage is almost always 80% – 100% used! Also the trackpad is a bit annoying. I’ve been spoiled by my Surface Pro 4 all these years. Maybe I’ll try the Xiaomi
