    Hi all, can anyone tell me if the 64GB model of the LapBook SE has an upgraded heatsink, or is it the same as the 32GB model? I have read a lot about the fact that the heatsink and the CPU do not line up properly and a lot of people recommend the heatsink mod. Just want to know if this is still required with the 64GB model.

    Gearbest is selling both models, but the 64GB is around $100 more expensive. To me it is not worth the price increase if I still have to mod it.

    Sorry, couldn’t say as I haven’t bought the new model. But my guess is it would be the same. It doesn’t need the mod only if you plan to increase the performance above the default config via Increased power limits. The heatsink as per my video hands-on looks like it is for another model, but it still works fine at stock TDP.

    The 64GB version is not worth it at all. Better of with the 32GB version and then installing an SSD.
