Latest x98 3g

Hi all

I have been watching your videos and reading through your posts for a few weeks now. I finally received my 64gb x98 3g this morning. It came with windows 10 preinstalled but the user name was “J” and I thought I would do a reset of windows to start from scratch. It got to around 50% of installing the drivers after the reset and now there is nothing on the screen. If i press the power the backlight goes on and off but it is black.

Would your recommend leaving it to see if the drivers just need to finish installing? Or do I need to turn the device on and off.

If I do need to turn it on and off how to I go about doing it as the power button puts the backlight on and off.

How long has it been like that? If its more than an hour I would try reset, hold down power for 10 seconds and it should turn off then turn it back on. Dangerous to do that while its in setup but I have had to do that a few times on various tabs and never had any issues other than on one I had to run the startup repair

Thanks Dave. I resetting it and it started from where it left off and is working ok now. I am trying to root but kingo and iroot arent working. I have tried about 10 times now. Any ideas?
