Lines all over the display

Well, I managed to update the BIOS to v607 using the 32->64 bit post in this forum, but the lines are still there – both in the BIOS and in Windows.

Anyone else having the same display issue (they can be really hard to see, and only shows up on “semi-bright” colors)?

Nope. I have not seen those on my tablet. Sometimes I get flashing lines on the display after coming out of sleep but switching off and on again resolves it.

Try this new bios fix. http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/new-bios-fix-for-hi10-64bit-serials-hi10-64g42151105000-and-higher/

Worth a shot, if not your screen has a hardware issues and you’ll need a replacement. get in touch with your seller.

Thanks for your replies, Cyberheater and Chris. Unfortunately my S/N is too low for that update (??).

 

I have been discussing with the (Chinese) seller for more than a week and opened a dispute to get AliExpress to help me. Both of them seem to have great difficulties understanding the issue…

They just don’t want to go to the expense of honouring the warranty. I hope you get it resolved soon.

find when shutdown/issues with video,  border its not fixed to case, so when press on one corner, brings up again….. so press and screen broken … on the inside, 3 lines appear, but not outside the screen, but inside, the screen.There is NO broken line is inside. when fits on original case chuwi, tablet dont start-up…. after touch on corner and broken screen inside NOT external……… ask for full refund included delivery expenses. regards
