Looking for X98 substitute

It’s almost clear now that my X98 is dead, so I have to find a suitable replacement costing around $100.

The models I found at Banggood are Teclast X80 Pro (8″) and the Teclast 98 octacore MT6753 (10″).

The final user will be my wife, and she uses for card games and Whatsapp mostly, by wi-fi.

Which model would you recommend? It can be some other model, of course, as long as Banggood stocks it, and close to that price target.
