    Hi Everyone,

I have been looking to get a cheap laptop for awhile and found a Maingear B14S on JD.com – it’s same logo as the US company but their products are quite a bit different, so I guess they have just “borrowed” or bought the license to sell products…  Not quite sure.  Anyways, the reviews seem positive and its about what I need, plus the price is right.  I’d prefer a 1080p screen and maybe a Core M or newer Atom CPU, but I won’t use it for much.  Does anyone know anything about this laptop or Maingears from China?

Here is a link for reference, it’s basically a Macbook Air clone with a Bay Trail Pentium/Celeron and 2-4gb of ram plus optional SSD.

Never heard of them, but there are many companies using this same MacBook clone design. Not sure if they are any good, normally you get what you pay for.
