I’m new to the tablet world so was new to the idea of OTG. I went through this forum and ordered the OTG hub from ebay like everyone else. I was impatience and wanted to reconfigure the tablet as I was running low on storage on my dual boot. I decided to make my own OTG hub instead of waiting 3-4weeks for the one from ebay to arrive. After reading this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1828032 and going through the work to make my own, i realized I could of save money from ordering the one from ebay which doesn’t charge anyways.
Just my 2 cent, if you have spare parts, why not make one yourself.
I just tap the 5v and GND wire from a spare male USB-A cable to the same wire on the small white OTG-female USB-A that came with the tablet.
Then I just hooked up a usb keyboard which has 2 USB 2.0 ports on it. Plus the USB-A male of the spare cable and there you have it.
Works very well and stable.
