Can you tell the manufacturer of the cards? Mine is reading a 32GB class 10 Kingston with no problems. I even installed stuff there. I saw in some Russian forum that Londisk and Netac worrk good with this tablet.
February 1, 2017 at 7:37 pm #61406I have updated the reader driver and rebooted and already recognizes the 32gb card.
February 1, 2017 at 10:27 pm #61410Can you confirm if it’s Intel or Realtek? My device has Realtek drivers and it was able to read a 32GB class 10 Kingston and a 16GB Sandisk Ultra with no updates.
February 13, 2017 at 6:42 pm #62163Because it has baffled me. Get it to work, but then again fails and does not read the card. I’m expecting a 64 gb of sandisk brand. To check whether it works or not.
February 13, 2017 at 6:44 pm #62164Where can I look at that data?
February 13, 2017 at 9:21 pm #62174The Device Manager should tell you.
February 13, 2017 at 10:24 pm #62176Device Manager >> SD Host Adapters
Mine has two entries:
Mobile 6th/7th Generation Intel Processor Family I/O SCC:eMMC – 9D2B
Mobile 6th/7th Generation Intel Processor Family I/O SCC:SDcard – 9D2D
The drivers for both I just updated through Device Manager to:
Driver Version: 10.1.1.38
Driver Date: 03/10/2016
The only SD card I’ve tested was a no-brand 64GB. Not recognised, before driver update at least.
This really needs to be fixed, as an SD card is essential in this device given the limited storage.
February 13, 2017 at 10:56 pm #62178There’s a discussion here on the Intel SD card reader on a different machine but with the same problem, where they discuss various solutions, including running a bat file. Not sure if it’s a BIOS or Windows problem, but it seems to disappear in Linux so looks like Windows Driver problem.
February 14, 2017 at 12:26 am #62185I’m pretty sure it’s a Windows problem since some dual boot devices don’t have problems with Android.

Yes. My card is showing up in the BIOS under SDIO settings, but nothing can get Windows to recognise it.
February 14, 2017 at 3:49 am #62191I’ve been testing this with some other cards…
a 64gb (no name) card works without fail every time
a 128gb Sandisk Ultra is only recognised if the previous card is inserted first, and fails to show up if rebooted, until the other card is inserted again.
So something about the 64gb card causes the driver to work properly and allow the other card to be recognised. It seems to only work when fastboot is disabled too. Weird.
February 14, 2017 at 7:24 am #62196Fastboot doesn’t make too much difference when you have a SSD, I just use it on my laptop because it doesn’t have a SSD, it’s disabled on both my Cube i7 and desktop. I ordered a 128GB Londisk, I saw at some Russian forum that it works. I’ll get back to you as soon as I get it.
