You should be able to just press it in a little more with the tip of your thumb nail and you will hear a small click then when you release it will spring out by itself. I usually power down first as it save having to unmount. When putting in label faces back of tablet.

Thanks for the reply Bill, got it out, see my other posting. Though never heard a click. It is also weird that Android does not recognize more usb stations than one. I had a USB 3.0 hub plugged in with two usb 3.0 micro sd card readers with a 32gb and a 64 gb card in it. In Windows I saw both mounted, in Android only one was visible, though one had to be formatted again in Android, but still did not appear in the Card reader together with the other one. But one micro sd card in the cardreader slot of the Chuwi and one in usb 3 station works alright.

Is it common, that Android 5.1 is not capable of mounting more usb stations than one?

I just did a test on mine and plugged in two 16GB fat32 sticks (1 in usb2 port and 1 in usb3 port). Both were mounted ok and I was able to open them in ES File Explorer. It looks like it has mount locations for up to 4 USB storage. But then I did another test, unmounted the USB sticks and plugged in a card reader with a 2GB microsd. Although it looked like it mounted it caused an error when I tried to open ES File Explorer. I think it only expects microsd to be in the slot and not on a USB card reader.
