    The micro sd slot on my teclast x98 air 3g (C5J6) has never work since I received it.  I don’t want to send it back for repair (UK to HK).  It’ll take too long.  Any ideas how to fix it?  Thanks guys.

    You tried both Android and Windows sides?

    Yes, I have tried on both android and windows, used different cards both old and newly bought, all working on other devices, re-formatted some before using tried all the formats.  No joy.  Slot definitely dead or not soldered on properly.

    Too bad, it slot is definitely dead.  Sorry I have no clue on how to fix it.
