    Hello All,

I did minimal thermal mod to my Cube I7 Book, just by putting small thermal pad directly at the CPU plate. However I forgot to make a test before the change so I don’t really know does it bring any benefit or not. Could anyone, with unmodded Cube I7 Book, perform Aida 64 stability tests and provide results within this thread?

Aida 64 Extreme is not free software, but it does provide 30 days evaluation period, so such test can be made at no cost. Please kindly tick CPU and FPU stress only so results are easy to be compared.

    Some more details:

My thermal pad is 15mm x 15mm x 1.5mm, having thermal conductivity at 3.2w/m-K. Placed between CPU “heat sink”/plate and the rear cover, exactly at the “square hole”. I would say it does not fit perfectly, due to being too thick. Maybe 1.1-1.3 mm would be better.

Results of my tests are bit strange. It seems to be the table is “faster” when not plugged to AC power. On battery I have stable 1995 MHz, on AC power 1860-1995 MHz. Actually I should grab statistics tab as well. I can do it on request.

    Thanks in advance!
