mipad ram and emmc mod

Hi guys, I’m  new to here. Just want to share the mod I have on my mi pad 2. Sorry for my poor English.  I was always interested in this tablet but I don’t like the fact that it only have 2gb of ram. Until recently i  found that several china companies offering modifying the ram to 4gb. So I decided to give it a try. Long story short, the result is good, I now have my mi pad 2 with 8gb of ram and 128gb emmc can’t be more happy with that.

Hi,  I found this on taobao (basically Chinese eBay/amazon ),  you contact the store, send in your mi pad, they open it up swap the ram and emmc, send it back to you. As simple as that, be warned most of these people only speak in Chinese as well as their pages. Your warranty, if there’s any, will surely be voided.

So how is the performance?

Is it worth doing it? Or it’s not the much?

Because I suspect the performance is on the chipset cpu Atom …

which is way slower than the previous Mi Pad 1.
