Hi! I just want to share my experience with Android 5.0 and Windows 10 Home on this device.
In Android 5.0 booting takes about 140 seconds (2 minutes 20 seconds) to reach the lockscreen from cold boot.
In Windows 10 Home booting takes about 40 seconds to reach the lockscreen from cold boot.
This is with both Operating Systems using multiple user accounts (3 user accounts).
Android 5.0 has 1 user with 4.83Gb user installed apps, another 1.43Gb installed apps and finally 3.85Gb installed apps. Most user downloaded apps are linked to SD using Link2SD.
Windows 10 Home has only a few user installed apps.
Is this normal? Any ideas? Thanks in advance! 🙂
*Edit: From V2 to V5, my bad.
October 9, 2015 at 9:25 am #12898Why not use v5.0?

Ah it is V5 all along, slight typo. 🙂
October 9, 2015 at 5:49 pm #12927Well not quite normal boot times. But maybe you were unlucky and got a slow eMMC? Some of the BIWIN or NCard (Forsee) drives are very slow 45 reads and 35 writes. Check the drive you have using the device manager in Windows and report back.

October 10, 2015 at 12:25 am #12948Normally the Samsung emmcs are the fastest. I’m not sure what to do next. Have you tired a factory reset? No way mine takes over two minutes to boot to android. Its under a minute. But i don’t have much installed.

Well I may have to live with this fact since I’m almost done with the installs for this tablet for my baby daughter to use. Might get a second tablet for myself next time they have a sale. Cheers! 🙂
