Really? I have read else where on some official posts that you can as apparently its the exact same manufacture android roms they are using for the X98 Pro.

I did a quick google to see if I could find what I thought I remember reading…

I found this from Chris and ratavaeurt  in the bottom of the webpage chat, but it was more wishful thinking then fact..

I am tempted to forcefully power-shove Mireks X98 Pro cherry trial v3.0 rom on my X16 and see if it magically works.. I wonder how badly things could go wrong?

Are there that big differences in HW between X98 and X16 except CPU family?
(Maybe a stupid question, sorry for that, I’m still learning…)

Hello,

I tested this rom to see what does not work , here's my account

Flash OK
Only the BIOS can not be flashed and indicates an error.

Once the flash ,

first problem the sensors are poorly detected and the image is inverted 180 degrees.

second problem the touch does not respond and there is a big lag.

In short I think we could create a custom rom Optimized without problems

I left the table and lit the bug battery which discharges does not exist with Mirek Rom

We should ask the creators of this rom to see if he could look at the X16
