Mine is the same (along with some light bleed on the screen which is only noticable while its boots on the Jumper screen). I wouldn’t touch it personally.

I also get the screen surround being slightly pulled away in the top left (by the strong magnet I suspect) when I open the laptop – again minor issue – I just push it gently back in place. I am considering removing that magnet to solve the issue and make the laptop easier to open anyway.

I think you have to consider the QC on this is not mainstream manufacturing standards – but then again not a mainstream price for this colection of components.

Alright, so then it’ts not just me at least. Yeah I mean it’s not an major issue really, just a little bit annoying. Was just thinking if someone has been able to fix it.

Yeah, mine is also misaligned, albeit not as bad as yours. I pretty sure the light bleeding would not be there if they fitted the screen properly btw. The bleeding seems to be due to too much pressure on the panel.

Really a shame, I wish they’d have at least a bit of quality control but I guess you pay what you get.

Cut the magnet in half or even a third.

As for the light bleed, i can see it along the bottom of the screen, more obvious if you press lightly on the surround, but when using the screen day to day doesn’t show. Screen is set slightly high and to the left.

Same here, panel slightly misaligned in the same way. V4 with Samsung eMMC.

This is not a big problem, but if someone knows how to fix this it would be great!

I have already cut the magnet, not sure how that would affect the screen though.

Wasn’t suggesting the magnet would affect the screen, just make them smaller to hopefully make them a bit weaker.
