move apps to SD and root

[Mike Kauspedas]

I can’t move apps to SD while in android. Is there a work around?

Is kingo root safe? I’ve read some stuff online that its suspicious. I’m only looking at root to fix the move app to SD issue. I’d prefer not rooting.

I just found this, looks like root is the only option.

What’s the safest root, with privacy in mind not the actual process. Is kingo root safe?

There are several methods you could use. Check out these 2 links and read what people have to say.

Also, this is Kingo method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA2YEMTYL2I  (this tutorial was made for Vi8, but it works for Hi8 too)

I personally used x98 Toolbox method to root.  I don’t know how safe Kingo is, but just use one of the other methods if you’re worried.

Thanks!

For x98, do you mean you used the method for that device? Something called an Air x98 3G … ?

x98 Toolbox works on Hi8 for rooting
