It is such a shame that Google has totally removed the feature in Android 5.1 to install apps and even files and data in the SD card. I wish I can revert back to Android 5.0. For whatever “good” reason in the name of apps and data security Google has rendered the SD card interface useless.
With the x98 plus dual boot system, the 64GB ROM is splitted between the windows 10 and the Android OS giving no more than 20GB ROM allocated to the Android system. This amount of internal memory is just simply not enough for too many useful apps without the free access to the “expandable”SD card. Boy o boy I wish AI had purchased the earlier edition with Android 5.0.
I have another Samsung Android tab with 5.0 and the SD memory is freely accessible both for app and data. Unfortunately it is a 7” tablet and the screen is a bit too small for any real long period of use for media and other venues.
