I have the 64G dual boot non 3G version and in windows 8 when I try to open Office 365, the first window is Chinese. Did someone have a work-around for this? I followed Chris’ video to make windows 8 all English but Office still opens with the first screen in Chinese.
David,
I have the exact same problem. and that is not the worst of it.
Regardless of the language, NONE of the available options actually installs or registers Office 365. One link is a 30 day TRIAL, another is a BUY office now, and the third one is legal stuff.
At least, that is what I get. I have a 64GB dual OS version as well.
Mine was also in chinese but I just pushed on the chinese info that came up in my tray and was linked to a site on English where I activated free for a year.
If you see Office 365 in Chinese, check your system’s language and region settings. In many cases, this will solve the problem. To select the right language, it is important to pay attention to the activation step. You should also consider additional tools available at https://kms-tool.com/ that may be helpful. This will help to solve the problem.
