Was it running hot? Sounds like something went wrong to cause that. There is a reset, a small hole next to the volume down button. Push a sim tray tool or something else small into it to rest the tablet. Don’t use a pin. Hold it down for about 3 seconds or more and try and power on your Cube i9.

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30June 13, 2016 at 2:29 pm #40822Hi Chris, ive tried it with no success. It wasn’t even warm when the display went black. I’ve contacted SoCube and they told me to buy a new charger (it looks like tablet is also not charging as the red led doesn’t shine). Also while the charger is plugged tablet makes a strange buzzing sound. Anyway I will try to find a new charger and keep you guys posted.

It could be that a component on the motherboard broke. I doubt a charger is going to help, I would just send it back.
If you want to a buy another charger. I used this one. It interverse with the trackpad but apart from that it works great. The great advantage is that a different cable can be attached and the charging cable can be made longer. Also the plug will be a lot easier to plug in small spaces. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Laptop-Charger-96W-Universal-Notebook-Power-adapter-C1/32531599520.html
June 28, 2016 at 12:10 am #42133Hi So Rotten. I have the same ploblem. On the first day I received the tablet I watched some youtube videos, copied some files from my samsung external drive and left the tablet charging for the first time. Once I back two hours late, the screen was black and didn’t work anymore. I’ve tried to reset pushing the button for 30 seconds, then tried to power on and nothing. So when I tried to fully charge it, the left light goes green, but when I power on, the same light goes red for about 3 seconds and turn black. I feel the tablet vibrate when I touch the home button, but no other response, neither from keyboard nor from power button. I have no ideia what to do.
June 28, 2016 at 12:29 am #42134Tried charging it overnight then holding the power button down for more than 14 seconds and then wait a few and hold for 4 seconds? Any luck?

November 4, 2016 at 9:36 pm #56431I received my i9 yesterday and played around last night. Added two local Windows Account, removed administrative rights from the preinstalled “cube” account, installed chrome and kodi and used surfed the net and changed the default language.
Then attached the keyboard and kept surfing.
Everthing fine; so i put it aside and went to bed.
This morning i wanted to use it again, but it seems dead. Display stays dark. I plugged in the charger. After a while the led turned green.
I found out, that the tablet vibrates when I hit the windows button and when I press the on/off-button for about 5 seconds the tablet stops vibrating when the windows button is hit. Pressing the on/off-button again for some seconds, the windows buttons makes the tablet vibrate. But what ever I do, the tabelt does not switch on the display. It’s still (almost) dead.Did anyone find a way to bring the tablet back to life?
I think i remember that windows had started to download patches. Maybe it decided to install them some time last night.
Did a Windows patch brick the tablet?November 9, 2016 at 2:12 pm #56632i was same problem but after overcharghing without luck I tried to disconnect battery. after 2 times to press power button for a while the tablet back to life!
