1. Battery life doesn’t display properly here either. Always says calculating… in Windows.
Not sure about the discharge.
Charging is slow, yes. Charger provided is 800mA for a wall socket here so, I’m not surprised it sucks honestly. Still it does charge albeit slowly and will charge in use, just extremely slowly.
2. Only tried a 64gb Samsung Evo microSD which is functioning fine for me.
3. No idea, disabled sleep and such to attempt to improve battery function.
4. Not had anything like this occur, sorry.April 25, 2016 at 11:40 pm #350761.my one works fine with battery. but there are some problem with charger(it charges slowly), so i bought 5V/3A USB charger and USB to DC cable.
2.i tried several sd cards, it works fine. code 10 error is usually related to driver. please re-install driver.
3.no such a problem for me. it think it is related to hibernation.
4.also there is no such a problem for my ezpad.
April 26, 2016 at 4:20 am #35090Hi, Thanks for the replies. I did something really stupid: I tried reinstalling the drivers for the SD card reader, but that didn’t solve the problems. So, I decided maybe my best bet would be to restore the computer to it’s original state with a System Restore. In Windows 10, there’s a restore function that wipes all my changes out, but keeps my files. I chose that function, and the tablet proceeded to reset itself. Now it’s stuck in a reboot loop at “Installing Windows” 65% progress… I’m not sure how to get out of this one, but I may need to try reinstalling from a fresh Windows 10 image on a USB stick.
Cheers,
-Terry
April 27, 2016 at 6:40 am #35237Okay, so I borked my tablet by doing the “restore”. The tablet ended up rebooting in an endless loop. So, I tried reinstalling Win10 using a USB image, and it sort of worked, but the drivers are all missing. Thus, the tablet is pretty useless right now. Does anybody have a link to a driver dump? It’s ridiculous that Jumper doesn’t support their tablets with downloadable drivers. I understand this seems to be par for the course for these cheap Chinese tablets, but that doesn’t make it any better.
Thanks so much for your help!

June 9, 2016 at 12:05 pm #40340Hi there,
I just got my EzPad 5s yesterday, but I’m already able to say something about it’s problems.
- I don’t get any battery life value (“calculating…”). Charging seems to be slow or impossible, when the tablet is in heavy use.
- 128GB SanDisk card works fine with my EzPad 5s
- No problems here
- Yep, I know this. It appears when my EzPad returns from sleep mode. Seems to be annoying but harmless.
Unfortunately I’ve got another issue: my EzPad does not power my 2.5″ external USB harddrives even when using a Y-cable. The USB Ports seem to work fine though except for the hdds.
I tried to contact anyone at the Jumper company but all the three email addresses I found don’t seem to work. Is there any working support for Jumper tablets?

Hey Terry, i did the exact same mistake. Now i need to install windows but i can’t get it to work via usb. How did you do it?
June 14, 2016 at 9:45 pm #41034I prepared the USB stick using microsoft’s tool at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and restoring the drivers file found on this site using Doubledrive. I didn’t have any trouble using the usb 3.0 jack, but had to repeatedly hit a key (don’t know if it was esc, F2, F8, or Del) during initial boot until it asked if I want to boot from alternate media. Good Luck.

June 15, 2016 at 8:59 pm #41126I just got the Jumper EZbook http://techtablets.com/2016/06/jumper-ezbook-2-laptop-unboxing-first-impressions/
Same issue as the EZPad 5S, will not power external 2.5″ hdd’s… Really, Jumper? Again!? My advice now is to stay away from Jumper until you know for sure the bugs have been fixed. The build of the EZpad 5S is nice, but don’t let if fool you!

July 13, 2016 at 10:10 pm #43385Where did you find the USB to DC cord? My charger has failed and I would rather buy that cord than a new power adapter.
July 13, 2016 at 11:35 pm #43422@nyashachirenda Download doubledriver (In the downloads section) and use that to restore the drivers.
@fyrfyter33 Try eBay or banggood.comChris | Admin

I want to buy a USB to DC cable for this tablet, does anybody know the diameter it should be? 1.7 mm, 3.5 mm? Thanks!
December 29, 2016 at 10:10 pm #59491This is 1.7mm.
Personally, I use the 5S charger.
