My x80 Plus always boot to windows

I got the tablet yesterday, and in the android I told it to never show the boot screen again.

Today, I’ve decided to run windows for the first time, and it booted.

 

Unlike the android boot menu, when I press the power button for few seconds, windows does not give any option to select which OS to boot to, so I’m stuck with windows.

(I would have expected to see the same boot menu just like in android)

 

I’ve already tried pressing Power + volume down and also Power + volume up during power-up and I don’t see any boot window, so now I can’t boot to android any more.

 

The user manual that came with the tablet is a peace of crap, so I can’t find any useful information in it.

What can I do?

Well, the instructions (I’ve read the Spanish one because the english one does not have  “Dual boot” instructions) are misleading.

They say that you need to press the volume+ and the power up together until the dual boot menu shows (The device must be turned off).

 

This is inaccurate. The power button needs to be pressed until the teclast logo shows, and then press the volume up button until the boot menu (in chinese) shows.

 

If you press the power and the volume up buttons together, then the device would never turn on.

I am having similar problem with my Tbook 16 Power. It boots directly to Windows and Don’t show any Boot Menu. I’ve successfully got into Bios with the instruction of “Itai Sargani”, In bios I see android is the first boot, but it still boots into windows. I’ve even disabled the Windows boot option, but somehow it still boots into windows. Is there any way to fix this?

You can try setting Setup Prompt timeout to something bigger, and disable quiet boot. Maybe it will help.
