My current workhorse laptop is an old Thinkpad L430 with Intel Core i5 3230M and 8GB of RAM and I’m looking to make a change to something lighter, prettier, with and SSD and a better display.
I’m wondering whether anyone has any opinions on how the performance on something like the Chuwi Lapbook with the N3450 and 8GB RAM would stack up?
I know the N3450 uses considerably less power and has a slightly lower clock speed, but it has four full cores and uses a more modern 14nm manufacturing process.
I mostly use the laptop for office tasks, WordPress, and some light Photoshop and Fireworks – and the performance of my Thinkpad is fine, so anything either the same or better would be great!
