    did you try to remove the battery ?? normaly its reset the bios

    Update: solution was to completely discharge (not just disconnect!)) battery. Made using usb cables to charge and tablet overnight. BIOS had been reset after that

    Open the back panel of laptop, disconnect the battery connector, leave it for 10-15 mins, then reconnect battery and power on. This should reset the BIOS settings to factory defaults.
