Need Help – Flashing with factory android 5.1 v1.07

My machine

X98 plus dual boot bios 3.00 running android 5.1 v1.05 and win 10

Downloaded everything it need and start to flash

Run the Intel phoneflash 5.xx and load the download rom

 

Set the tablet to developer mode on and set the usb debug on

Press Start to Flash

 

The tablet reboot to dual boot screen then I choose android of course the it boot up like this (With 4 choices like normal boot, fastboot, recovery mode and power off or something alike)

 

The PC did not wait for my action and report flash failed

 

What I did wrong and/or what should I do??

Hi,

Regarding your issue, this could be due to your folder name is in chinese character, copy all the content and move it to a normal named folder. I did encounter this issue, and even left the tablet flash during the 2nd time reboot after flashing. Also if there’s an Android picture with moving gears, please dont force off your tablet, I almost did that, luckily I waited long enough and android booted up. Apparently, it’s reinitializing.

Have patience and you will have an updated tablet.
