Hi guys,
I have a Teclast X98 Pro dual boot since october and used it as my primary PC in the office as well as a tablet at home (Win10 only). Battery life was’nt great from the beginning but the tablet was very usable.
But since a week or so (Microsoft patch day?) I have massive problems. In the office (connected to a OTG-Charger and external display) the Teclast often looses 10-20% battery per hour. Some times a reboot fixes this for some time and the battery fills up again – but it starts draining the battery 2-3 times a day. When I use it as a tablet without charging (Energy saving enabled, display at 25%) the battery lasts about 30-45 minutes.
Taking a look at the task manager shows that the CPU is mostly idle (5-15%) and can’t be the reason for this draining. Using the Intel driver update tool I also reverted to the latest stable graphics driver with changing the situation.
Did anyone has a similar problem since the last windows updates? Or is my battery dead after only 7 month? Anybody managed to replace it?
Thanks in advance,
Jens
