To whom it may concern,
I got myself Teclast F5, loved the form factor and modified it to exclosed an extra 40WH battery, but was very cheesed off that the bios was not working, in particular, the S3 Sleep Mode (keyboard and mouse refused to come back) and the touch screen were NOT working.
To this end, being a very annoyed EE graduate, I bought another Teclast F7 Plus, took the ACPI DSDT table from Teclast F7 Plus laptop and merged it with the current DSDT table, and compiled the override DSDT table into the Linux v5.1-rc7 kernel. In short, everything seems to work now with an vanilla Ubuntu 18.04.3 and this custom kernel on my laptop. However, I’m calling for anybody out there who’s brave and handy enough to install Ubuntu 18.04 and then the custom dpkg below:

Please test and let me know if the goodness of the fix extends past my laptop. I’ve heard from others that for some other laptops, it just works out of the box, but clearly this wasn’t the case for my own.
Cheers,
I-Jong
