New owner questions Lapbook SE

Hi, first off I love your reviews. So I want to order an SSD to install into my Lapbook SE but I’m not quite sure which to get, also I’m not sure which size fits into the slot, 2280 or 2242. I want to get around 250 GB of diskspace, I have the 64 GB emmc model. So thanks for any suggestions.

Also I feel the trackpad is not really that good, I’m having some sensitivity issues, had to disable the pinch to zoom option because it getting randomly activated, but overall I’m really content with the laptop, I will also look into modding the heatsink as per your video, so thank you for that.

I have the same model of Lapbook SE i.e. 64 GB eMMC variant. Yes the type for the SSD is M.2 (also referred to NGFF) 2280 size just I case you are unsure as there are 2 types and can confuse people. The connection has the 2 notches as a visual clue. Hope this helps

As to the trackpad I have the had the same issue. I just adjusted the sensitivity to the lowest settings and this works for me.

2280 SSD, it must be SATA3 spec m.2 NVme/PCIe doesn’t work. I recommend the Crucial MX300 it runs well I have the 256GB version.

Touchpad should be fine, tweak the settings and experiment for best results. Mine works just fine, it’s one of the best touchpads on a sub $300 laptop.
