    Hello together,

I got my tablet today and have some questions, pls help if you can

Is there a difference in performance/gpu/cpu  if its plugged in or running on battery?

    I have these Games:

    Grim Dawn (ActionRPG)

    Borderlands 2

    Burnout Paradise

The Games run pretty well, but after a while, the fps drop and then increase again after a while

    Can you tell me why?

Is there a BIOS setting which dont throttle?

Also, today i bought the NINTENDO SWITCH TYPE C cable, the cube recognizes it, but says “dont charge”.

Is there a change it charges but slower? I have anker 20100 https://www.amazon.de/Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh-Externer-Akku/dp/B00VJT3IUA/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1489531054&sr=8-5&keywords=anker

Im from Germany, do u guys have a (german) amazon link to an working graphic pen?

    Hi

Sounds like your device is overheating. This is a known problem.

For the charging: you need a powerbank which supports higher voltages (20v) and more important power delivery. QC doesnt work.

There are not a lot of such powerbanks available in germany (and in general).

You can do it in the way I did it by buying a powerbank with dc connector… sure you cannot charge via USB and need a adapter but you can charge it instead of going out of power after 2 hours

    XTPower® XT-16000QC2 Powerbank moderner DC/USB QC2 Akku mit 15600mAh – 1x USB, 1x USB QC2 und DC Anschluss von 12 bis 24V 65W max. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01JZA76B6/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_zKnYyb6YQZZG7

    Sure… but you shouldn’t

The battery is getting hot during charging… the cpu also (and will slow down more often) and by charging and consuming the battery it will lose faster capacity.

You also need an adapter… if you get a single one you pay maybe 2 euro… 5.5×2.1 to 3.5×1.35

so, i cant use it in the train to play a game a longer time, because i shouldnt charge it on the go…

So i dont get the reason for that thing…

my dream was to play some games on the go when im on a train, but nothing works because the battery get to fast to low or i shouldnt charge it

but thx anyway, i will sell it

It always depends on what you want to do… or better want to play

If your device is close to its performance limits, charging in the same time would not be the best idea… but this is not specific for the cube… high temperatures are never good for batteries.

If you play games which not need all the power of the cpu you can surely charge it whithout grilling the battery!
