For Windows re-installation, you just need the windows image file, the 4 rar files as shown in the attached picture. Unpack and copy all the files as shown in the 2nd picture, to the root folder of the USB drive. But before that, the USB drive must be formatted in FAT32 with default cluster size to make bootable by X98 Plus.

The last pdf file in the Mega folder is actually the flashing instruction in Mandarin, you can download it as well if you want to check it out, but the picture they used for Windows installation is not from X98 Plus pictures, so a bit misleading.

Okay but is this the original image with all that chinese stuff that everybody wants to get rid of? What is the advantage of installing this image then?

Hi

Could anyone help provide the A6C9 files from Baidu? I can’t get any to download

First Android stuck in a boot loop because on one incompatible app so I can’t even uninstall it

Then last night Windows update crashed in mid update and now won’t boot

I’m also wondering what the advantage is of using these new files.

I just received my a5c8 tablet today and it looks like a pretty vanilla install of Win10. Everything seems to work though I haven’t tried any microsd cards yet.

I don’t see any bloatware and it appears to be English version with Chinese language pack.

Wondering if it’s worth it to reinstall.
