Sorry to hear about your problems – I am able to boot up Android but it is so unstable that it’s completely useless currently. I do not know my bios version, I’m afraid.

Thanks a lot for answering Frank

It is only that I´m extremely surprised that almost nobody has this problem, or seem to be interested in fixing it. As a tablet, Android is much more comfortable, talking about tactile experience, than Windows, and the reason to have this tablet is the posibility to use both, Windows for working and Android for less profesional use, I think…but..nobody is trying to fix it, and I wonder if there is a solution….

Thanks for your help, but I still claim for some help to find a solution to the ANDROID PROBLEM, or at least, to share your situation about Android, to find a solution…THANKS TO ALL OF YOU IN ADVANCE

    i had same problem.

for me it works when i:

turn the tablet off. And then press the power button and the vol+ button at the same time, and keep them pushed till the screen appears where u can choose android or windows, than choose 1 off them.

I´m interesting in having booth boots And I´m really surprised that there is no more answers or guidelines to follow….maybe I don´t understand the topics…but nobody could give an idea? Someone that could help? I´m really looking for a solution to run Android….is there a way? Thanks in advance for your patience…

Hey, I had same issue and never found any easy solution to fix it without flashing android again.

Head to X98_PRO_android_5.1_mirek190_v2.0 rom and follow mireks guide to install his rom. Its much better than stock rom anyway.

after you install mirek’s rom, by entering dnx mode, holding down volume down while hitting power and running his “click twice here” command, then you can install windows 10 again by doing this:

Hi there, sorry I haven’t gotten back to you sooner.  The solution to your problem is very simple.  I don’t think anyone on these forums knows, lol, because a lot of people are having the acpi bios error issue.  Here’s what you do:

    1. Go into the BIOS
    2. Arrow over right once
    3. Select fastboot and enable it
    4. you will now see a lot of options that were previously unavailable
    5. select full support under the usb options
    6. you will now be able to boot up just about any bootable usb, including different versions of windows, linux, etc
    7. install windows 10 as normal, or use one of the stock images found here.
    8. easy wasn’t it, lol

Well Daniel said his problem is with android not with windows. If windows works as intended he doesn’t need to install it again. Only flashing android with mirek’s script should work.
