    Hi All,

I am quite new on this tablet and just done a thermal mod and ssd swap. I just realised the cameras are not working since. In the device manager they have an exclamation mark within the device status it shows: “STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE”.

I tried to uninstall/delete driver and reinstalled the driver from the driver pack I downloaded from here. I opened the tablet again to check if any of the connection loose or disconnected nothing wrong I found.  However it cannot have a connection issue cause every time I delete the device and search for hardware change the tablet always finds the cameras.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated…

    Thanks

Well I didn’t get much help from this forum or the people here about my issue. Luckily I managed to resolve the issue.

I tried so many things take the tablet a part for about 2-3 times just to make sure the cam is connected to the motherboard or I didn’t damage the cable on any way when I done the previous upgrade.

Then my last solution was to put the original ssd back cause I remembered the cam was working fine with the original OS and voila. The issue was the Windows. I cloned the original ssd to the new one but somehow the camera driver had a defect what I couldn’t resolve even reinstalling the drivers, so I just done a fresh win10 install and everything works fine now no issues. I can even say Windows 10 runs a bit better then before.

I do recommend to everyone who is capable to do to reinstall the windows cause it makes the tablet much better.

    I thought I just share my experience…
