No sound on windows and android – icon earphone on notification bar

hi,

i have a teclast x98 Plus A5C8. i have installed mirek rom and use it without problem.

But for a week i have no sound on speaker. I have this problem with windows and android. On android i can see earphone icon on status bar but i don’t connect earphone.

The sound is ok if i connect earphone on windows and android.

Since you can see the headphone icon in Android, I assume that the tablet thinks that you have headphones connected.

It may be a broken headphone jack or perhaps the jack is dirty.

Try to blow hard into the headphone jack, plug in and plug out headphones a few times…

If nothing works, I guess the headphone jack is broken. I don’t know if it’s hard to change on the X98 Plus, I haven’t even been able to open mine.

There is always the chance that it’s a software problem, but it feels like it wouldn’t be in both operating systems in that case.

I’m not the only user with this problem. I will resintall win 10 + android stock on my tablet.

But the link on teclast is dead.
