    Hi all,

I come in need of expertise as most do who come to forums their first time. However, am stoked for your community having blown up the way it has – even more so to be a part of it.

So as is proper I put in an effort to make sure that there weren’t any identical posts so as to not waste time and although there are many who have suffered from multiple flickering horizontal lines – my one horizontal line happened after several hours of flawless/line-free display from the device — and coincidentally enough, after i updated Google Play (which actually caused the device to become non responsive for thirty seconds, the tablet woke up again after that short moment. However, it woke up with a line). Another reason i feel it’s not hardware related is due to the line not being present during the boot animation. It’s a noticeable purple line, yet doesn’t interfere with boot up (I know the screen is mostly black, but even when navigating the launcher you can see a glimpse of the purple line on the black portions of the screen.

Hence, I’ve gone about a clean android install, also wiping Windows 10 (I think the android install does that on its own) to hopefully go back to factory stock ‘google play service’ which of course I’ll never update again lol.

-The line does exist in the bios

-It’s also present at the W10/Android boot launch selection

-The line remains in either W10 or Anrdroid.

-I did start playing with it plugged in after only 30 minutes of charging cuz, it happens – don’t think it’s related though.

It is only the one line, that does not flicker.

This is my first Chinese tablet (which besides the line, is awesome) so if any technician gentlemen have a solution or have seen this before. Please advise.

    Your time is greatly appreciated.

The fact that the line does exist in the bios kinda indicates that it is probably hardware related. You could try to contact the seller to resolve the problem or if you feel comfortable with disassembling the tablet you could check that all the connections are proper.

Appreciate the response buddy. Yeah already ordered another one. Only had it for a day and got it from banggood/PayPal so should be alright. Going to officialy stop trying to fix it now. Thanks again
