    Hi

    I have Win 10 only on my C5J6 and have battery drain so want to update my bios to 2.02. Unfortanately I don’t have Android on the tablet (and don’t really want it) but only method seems to be in TechKnights method for flashing which requires debugging mode in Android.

    Is there any way at all that a 2.02 Bios can be flashed directly from Windows??

    You need a separate PC to do this. The following steps are extracted from Zelgar post Here, a very good summary indeed.  You need a fully-charged X98.

    1. Install the ADB drivers following this guide – Here
    2. Followed the Bios upgrade guide  – Here

    I’ve followed that guide and as I said in my original post it requires you to boot to Android and enable debugging mode.

    I only have Win10 on my tablet so the flash.bat doesn’t detect the tablet and fails.

    Surely there must be a way to flash the bios directly from Windows on the tablet itelf??
